Description
The Aston DB4GT with coachwork by the Italian firm of Zagato was first unveiled at the London Motor Show in 1960. Only 20 of these beautiful cars were built, several of them competing on the racetrack.
This is privateer car #14 as entered by Mike Salmon in the Le Mans 24 hour race in 1962. He drove with his fellow Englishman Ian Baillie, but retired with piston problems in the 12th hour.
1/43rd scale white metal model, handbuilt in England exclusively for mimodels, mounted on base with outer box.
