mimodels has commissioned many unique cars over the years. Some of these are from new masters, others are modifications of existing models:
the AC ACECA has not been produced as a handbuilt model before. Our first run comprised fourteen versions including road and competition cars. The latter includes the Carrera Panamericana and various European rallies. Other variations are in the works. the BEART RODGER CLIMAX Stirling Moss handbuilt models are our first using the 3-D laser printing process for the master. There are two versions, the car as driven on debut by Moss in April 1955 at Goodwood in unpainted polished aluminium finish, and as driven in May at Silverstone after the car was painted Ford Ludlow Green. our AUSTIN HEALEY 100-Six Streamliner handbuilt models are also produced from a completely new master. There are three different castings, eight versions in all including 1956 Bonneville Record and 1957 Sebring race cars, and other competition versions including one driven by Stirling Moss at Nassau in 1956. our first batch of the FRAZER NASH Le Mans Replica were made way back in 2005. We have added various versions since, including three different road cars, the never made before 1953 Le Mans #40 model, and a slightly revised 1952 Sebring winner. These are in addition to the ten previous models from a new master released previously. Each version is different in various subtle ways. ASTON MARTIN DB7 V8 - after a long wait, the model of the DB7 V8 that ran in practice at Le Mans in 1995 has finally become a reality. This is probably our finest and most detailed model ever. The first two batches sold out very quickly, and we will not be able to restock this model until later this year. By customer request we have also made the road version of this car. Please email us if you wish to see more pictures or to reserve one of either from our next production run.
with the kind assistance of many people, including the Aston Martin Heritage Trust we have commissioned a great many ASTON MARTIN competition and road cars. The vast majority of these have never been produced before. You will find them in the Aston Martin Specials category.
we now have in stock the excellent early ASTON MARTIN DB2 handbuilt models produced from the superb TIN WIZARD kits. In addition to the 1949 and 1950 Le Mans and Spa 24 hour racers, we have done examples from the Targa Florio and various British international races. the most recent batch of our exclusive JAGUAR D type models are now listed here. We have produced every D type that ran at Le Mans between 1954 and 1959, plus the Ecurie Ecosse #518 from the 1957 Mille Miglia.
